Bible Trivia Deluxe app good for
Like that it has alot of questions. Only problem I have with it is that the scripture goes by to fast and when I go to pause it, sometimes I miss it and hit the wrong answer. But all an all a good app.
True when u want to pause, u may hit the wrong ans for the next question, but I love this app, its amazing.
I bought this hoping for a decent trivia game featuring the bible. It is very nice, full of different catagories and questions and bible verses to help you learn! Im not looking any more, this is a awesome app for people wanting to study in Gods word! I love it!
If the navigation can be worked on so that you can go back and forth to main menu, as well as slow down the quizzes, it would be even more excellent!! Still, I love it!!
I was looking for a KJV trivia app and this is a good one, but it really could use some improvements.
1. Allow user to set larger font size - the current font size is too small for older eyes.
2. The graphics are much too busy, confusing and far outdated - minimize use of graphics and choose simple subtle plain color so that it doesnt distract from the interface.
3. There are some errors in the Scripture references - these need to be corrected.
4. Allow app to keep score and monitor progress.
5. Allow user to stop session and return later.
6. Allow landscape mode.
7. Allow Scripture to be viewed on the final question.
Absolulely perfect! Everyone living a earthly life has an opinion - however constructive views are far better expressed in using a positive direction; perhaps the reviewer has too much muscle in the brain and lacks positive emotional feedback from his childhood!
Some bad moments
Cannot navigate back to main menu from questions. Graphics are old school!!
For anyone not regularly using the King James Version, this trivia has a major downside. Often, its "vocabulary" questions use terms that are merely poor translations from this antiquated version. Knowing that a "matrix" is a term for "womb" has nothing to do with knowing the Bible well, its a quiz in outdated English terminology.
There are a lot of questions and the app can be fun if youre willing to overlook some major annoyances.
Its not really a game. Theres no end ... no pass-and-play feature ...
I think this could be seriously improved: foremostly with a modern translation and a greater percentage of questions that are about biblical content, not oddities.
Good question variety. But, it only has king James version, these no real "game" to play (only questions), and you cant navigate back to main menu. Updates would be nice.
This App provided no way to navigate back to its main menu once youve started a game, you have to keep pushing the home button in order to get back to the main screen. What "genius" would create an app and leave out something every other app has? Cheesy. The trivia questions arent challenging, either. And dont get me started on how the "Hallelujah" chorus plays every time you get a correct answer....annoying. I deleted this app no sooner than I got it. A note to the company who created this game....just because something is Christian doesnt mean it has to be second rate and cheesy.
Needs updates, cant get back to the menu but especially I do not want the KJV. Why not at least go with NIV? Ill update to five stars when the translation choice is fixed.
I purchased this app a year ago, and loved. I lost it (apples fault) and purchased it again..it has been installing 4 two days...CAUTION! there is no app support to help with technical issues like this..$3.99 lost.
